Re: dandruff on baby
It's most likely cradle cap.
I got the stuff from Disney which they sell @ Target and BRU, and probably BBB also.... Cradle Cap Care.
U rub it in, let it set for a bit, then wash it out, and it's all gone!

Re: dandruff on baby
I don't really know how to explain the cradle cap, but my DD had it 2x. She had it once when she was about 2 months old, and then got it again when she was around 4 months old, and it has never come back since.
I used the Disney stuff both times, and it went away!

I thought cradle cap was more sticky - like the hair stuck together. His doesn't do that - its just flaky.

Kristina didn't have that at all.
Her scalp had dry patches leaving her with dandruff looking stuff on her scalp. I used the cradle cap stuff and it was gone!

Re: dandruff on baby
It sounds like cradle cap - but maybe just a very mild case of it. My DD has it (she's 11 weeks). I just deal with it - because it is mild. Her hair is very dark, so it shows more. I just comb the flakes out with a fine tooth comb.
Gentle Naturals by Orajel makes a cradle cap wash. I used their Eczema wash on DD#1 when she had some patches of dry skin and was happy with their product.

Re: dandruff on baby
If the cradle cap is really bad, I use regular Selsun Blue on his head. Otherwise, I put baby oil on his head and brush the flakes out with a soft hair brush everyday until it's gone.
