Danica McKellar gets married
Winnie Cooper found her Kevin Arnold – and married him!
In a beachfront ceremony on Saturday on Kauai, Hawaii, Danica McKellar married attorney Scott Sveslosky with 25 family members and close friends attending, the actress's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"It was absolutely magical," says McKellar. "We were married at 6:30 a.m. in a sunrise ceremony. The forecast predicted rain, but there was not a drop of water in the clear sky. The sun came peaking up over the mountains just as I was walking down the aisle, alongside both my parents."
McKellar and Sveslosky, a partner at the international law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, got engaged in July.
The intimate ceremony involved the couple's two sons, Hunter (Sveslosky's from a previous marriage), 10, and Draco (McKellar's with ex-husband Mike Verta), 4. "Scott and I exchanged our vows," she says, "and then we exchanged family vows with our sons Hunter and Draco – we wrote everything ourselves. We also performed a sand ceremony where the four of us poured different colored sand into a vase which we will keep at home."
The festivities continued at the Grand Hyatt Kauai, where McKellar's mom Mahaila, who is a professional dancer, performed a Hula dance to the Hawaiian love song Forevermore by Alfred Apaka. "For fun, we gave a Hula lesson for all the guests," says the bride.
McKellar, who starred on the last season of Dancing With the Stars, says, "Before we met, Scott had wanted to learn ballroom dancing, and when I got on DWTS, he was even more inspired. Once I left the show – and my broken rib healed – we took lessons together. At the reception, our first dance as husband and wife was a choreographed waltz to "So This Is Love" from Cinderella, which included dips and lifts and other tricks I learned on DWTS.
The bride stunned in a mermaid dress by designer Alfred Angelo, but jokes, "Doing the waltz in my wedding gown was certainly a challenge!"
The newlyweds have "stayed put in Kauai for our honeymoon," says McKellar. "It's so beautiful here. We've surfed, kayaked, hiked and even zip lined upside down."
With their vacation coming to an end, it's back to work for McKellar, who will be a presenter at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

I think she is absolutely beautiful but her hair looks a mess. Then again, if I got married at 6:30am, I would look 10x worse.

6:30 in the morning?! What time did she get up to have hair and makeup done? That's just insane.
She's a very pretty woman, but I dislike her hair in these pictures.

her hair looks really sloppy and it looks like she has almost no makeup up, she could have done it up a little more to not look like she just rolled out of bed fresh faced.

I love this, the sunrise wedding, the Alfred Angelo dress, all of it. She got married in front of the people who mean the most to her, not the over the top celeb wedding. I think it's great.
