Dark haired ladies who dye to cover greys come in

My hair is really dark, almost black. I'm really starting to show a lot of greys. I want to dye to cover the greys, but don't want my hair to turn red or really change the color that much. I would say my hair is espresso brown.

Any recommendations on box dye? I've never dyed my hair before.

for that color? get revlon colorsilk in Medium Ash Brown. It'll cover it up for you, it's cheap (under 4 bucks) and the color will look perfect. I dye my sister's hair and she has the same color as you. (Revlon Colorsilk's colors are usually darker than they appear on the box)

I use Clairol Nice & Easy in one of the medium brown shages. I have really dark hair but once the greys start coming in they are really noticeable on very dark hair. So I lighten it a bit.
