Dark pink/hot pink raspberry accent walls in girls' rooms?
I decided to go pink for my daughter's big girl room. I've always been a little afraid of color, but this time I'm going in with the attitude-"it's only paint--and only one wall of paint!"
We are using her dresser, shelves and other accessories from the nursery. They are chocolate brown. I think we're going to get her a twin captain's bed in dark brown too.
If you've done a PINK accent wall (the rest of the room will have be white w a whisper of pink) can you suggest colors? I usually get bm, but am open to others. Any pictures would be helpful too.
Thank you!

We did BM Tickled Pink on the walls and Pink Cadillac on the ceiling in Ann's room.
I think it looks a little darker in person.
(It was quite a change as the room used to be BM Philipsburg Blue from when it was our office)

Thank you for sharing! Your room is gorgeous! I wish i had wainscoting or a chair rail to separate the walls, but I don't. I do have an alcove though, which is where I want to do the dark color. I feel like I've been spending hours on the bm website and in the hardware store(we're also redecorating our den and maybe, just maybe our kitchen)
I found a swatch with "pink ladies" and "razzle dazzle" both very bright pinks w purple undertones, but I didn't like the palest colors on the swatches (the 5 chip swatches.)
Would you go for one of their whites w a twinge of pink or a pure white for the rest of the room?
Ps- of course I'm going to check out cadillac pink right now.

LOL!! I had about ten of the five chip swatches taped up in her room for weeks!!!
And I was a bit nervous after I painted it because it was really PINK!!!!! But I do really like the way it came out and the Pink Cadillac on the ceiling doesn't even look pink some of the time ... not sure if it's because it's on the ceiling or it's just that light a shade.
Good luck!
