Darn That Magic 8 Ball!!!!
I just asked it if I'm pregnant right now... it said "no way!"
What a jerk, it told me yesterday that I was! What a backstabber!
I cracked and tested... BFN
But still no AF
I knew I shouldn't have went out at midnight to buy tests!!!!

Take a break from shaken 8 ball syndrome and try this instead- get a deck of cards and shuffle them really well. Fan them out and pick 6. If you get 3-4 of the ones listed below then chances are good.
Hearts
QUEEN (def)
3,6,9,10 Jack
Spades
Ace, 4,6,8 Jack
They all have meaning tied to children and family. 6 of Spades is Victory.
It totally worked for me every time!

In my experience with the 8 Ball, you have to concentrate. Ask the question to yourself as you rotate the object around in a couterclockwise circular motion. Do not jiggle it furiously for an answer. Keep your eyes closed until your ready to see the answer you want.
PS - I am only half kidding.
