Day 14 and no O???
So, I still haven't gotten a peak on my FM, this is my second month of using it! I have a 27 day cycle and I normally O around CD14, I hope I don't O too late since that means this LP will be really short!! AHHHH, All I keep getting are highs!!! I just ran out to buy a Clearblue digital just to make sure my FM is right!!!
Any ladies ever experience this iwth the FM? I have tons of EWCM..so I know I'm about to O...UGH I hate this

A late O won't change your LP, don't worry. If you have a 27 day cycle and you usually O on Day 14, that means your LP is 13 days long. If for some reason you O late (and there are tons of reasons why it would happen inlcuding illness, stress, travel, etc), your LP would still remain the same. So, if you didn't O until Day 15, your cycle would be 28 days long instead of 27.

Thanks!!! I didn't know that!!! Now that I think about it, before the whole TTCing thing started, AF was 28 or 27 days, I guess the past two months it's been 27 and I've assumed it's always 27...

this happened to me this month too!
I am 'supposed to' O on CD12, and I only got my OPK+ on CD13... so I O'ed 2 days late!
Keep going every other day until you get your  . Don't do what I did, and begin your marathon too early. We had to extend our marathon (every day for 4 days) and it nearly killed us

ha ha, thats what I'm nervous about. I told DH to be ready tonight CD 14 and tomorrow, so he came home today all ready and pumped, and I was like listen, tonights not the 100 percent perfect night, and he's like well what about tomorrow...I was like not sure yet..he looked at me like I had 5 heads
Anyway, we BD'd tonight for good measure since we are doing it every other day....I'm just really scared I'm not going to ovulate this month for some strange reason....I wonder if my cycles being reregulated for some strange reason...

Good luck this month. I hate to say this...but I think I have to skip this month! My school district really went out on a limb for me and I'm going to wait until next month to ttc again! I'm ok with it because I know it is a good move for a future and a baby...but I'm sooooooo bummed! Sorry to vent on your post

No worries, I'm in a vent mode...today I poas on the monitor stick and completely messed it up so I have no clue if I am Oing or not today..so I'm checking with the digital one in a bit....If I don't O this month I'll be truly bummed since DH has been extra cooperative this month

keep in mind you don't have to get a positive OPK to O!! there are definitely some girls on the PG board who never got a positive OPK the month they got preggo.

REALLY?!?!?!?! You just made me soo excited, bc I totally feel like either I'm about to any second or I may have already...but for both the monitor and the digital to not pick it up, could my urine be too diluted, I've been drinking a lot more water and green tea lately...

yeah, that's true. If you have a short spike and you test only once a day, you could miss it all together!
On 2weekwait.com, a poster recommended buying cheap OPK tests and testing twice a day to eliminate that problem.
then there's the added issue you brought up where your pee could be too dilute....
especially if you are temping or paying attention to CM, if the other things seem to be on track, you likely O'ed and just missed it with the OPK kit

Thanks!!! unfortunately I don't have cheapy OPK's, but I'm feeling like I'm going to O any second...so I may just be Oing late this month....or maybe I did already....I have no clue!!!

just keep BD'ing every other day.... that will maximize your chances even if you missed it with the OPK / fertility monitor. It also won't exaust you in the long run like a daily BD would

Ha ha...Well we Bd'd last night CD14 and then tonight and I think tomorrow night, since I'm pretty sure tomorrow I'll finally get my peak hopefully
We also BD'd every other day starting from CD10...so these three days will be a sort of a marathon for us...***** thats its during the week and not on the weekend!!!!

I am in the same boat as you!!! CD 14 but with a 24 day cycle....I had been using Answer brand OPKs and getting nothing but today I used a regular stick and I got a light line....one might think I am not Oing but I have tons of CM and light cramps so we are still BDing at least every other day.
Its good to know not everyone gets a positive reading and gets pregnant. I hope I am not kidding myself here!
I was about to tell you to relax and you will ovulate but I know how that is....
