Day 2, diary of a working mother

Rewind to last night, husband had to drive his car for AN HOUR to get the battery charged back up, had to do all dinner and bedtime alone. Poor kid was exhausted. Went up to bed at 11.30, heard the kid playing with aquarium, opened door...met by stench of horrible daycare lunch poo. Cleaned kid up, let him CIO for 25 minutes. Finally fell asleep with me rubbing his tummy and watching the aquarium.

Finally fell asleep at 3.30, before I knew it, alarm was going off at 6.30. Thank goodness I laid out all my clothes last night, now I just have to shower and get said clothes on body. Thank goodness Noah likes to sleep in, so I had to wake him up at 7.10!

But guess what...I made it. I made it into the office on time for the second time!! And I haven't even had a starbucks!

I find that laying out mine and Molly's clothes the night before really helps. i also prepare her bag for daycare the night before.

this will get easier...good luck today.

Thanks! My friend told me that I should sleep in my clothes, that would make it easier! Should I take her advice???

I have no idea how you do it. I would be hell on wheels at work on just 3 hours sleep. All it would take would be one nasty customer and all hell would break loose.
Way to go Rach!
