Day 2 of OPK's... and a question...

so far no smiley face on the CBE OPK. I thought I was having O pains before when I was laying down. I guess eventually I will get a positive OPK. It does not make sense to me if I get AF on a regular basis- will I get a postive OPK eventually? Is it possible to get AF and no ovulation... I figure I have to o eventually, right?

It is possible to get AF without ovulation.

Once I started to use OPK I realized that my o'pains come before actual ovulation. For example, last month I got pain on cd 6 and ovulated cd 15.

what cycle day are you on?

I am on cycle day 9 with a 26-28 day cycle every month. This is the real first month of timing it with OPK's. I feel depressed and like a failure- I am not a very good patient, I have white coat syndrome after losing my parents so young. I was the one taking them to doctors and it really played a psychological toll on me.....
I am so depressed that everyone around me seems to have babies and not me.

Dont worry - you are only on CD 9...with a cycle of 26 - 28, you probably wont get a positive until CD12 or so! So don't worry.

Dont worry - you are only on CD 9...with a cycle of 26 - 28, you probably wont get a positive until CD12 or so! So don't worry.

I agree - I think your smiley face will appear in a few days

I felt the same way as you but dont lose hope! I actually gave up after testing from day 12-18, then started another package on day 21 and sure enough I got my smiley on day 22!!! I was so depressed though, thought something was wrong with me, made a doctors appt! Your will come!!!

Don't feel bad. I too got very discouraged after not getting the on that test. I started testing on cd8. I had to go buy a new box of tests b/c I didn't get a + until cd17 whereas I got a + on the test last month on CD10! I was sure there was something wrong with me and I cried myself to sleep the night before I got the . But, then it did come, and I was never so happy. Hang in there -- it will happen for you. I did keep BDing every other night until I got the + and then every night for 3 nights after the +.
