That's AMAZING! Good work! Chat Icon Did you feel hungry? I had the biggest problem with breakfast foods while on Atkins--I didn't have the time to cook bacon and eggs!

It's weird - during the day at work, I feel hungry - like I'm not packing myself enough food. At night though, I feel like I eat less than usual (when I'm not dieting, I am a HUGE night eater) because I am sick of the food and semi-nauseous from all the meat and eggs, so I just dont' eat as much - that's helping too I guess!

I had trouble with that too- I drank almost nothing but those shakes, which became gross to me after a while. I don't eat eggs.

But I am thinking about doing Atkins again myself. I need a jump-start.

See - I eat a lot of eggs - I think I'd be in major trouble if I didn't like eggs!

I had the same issue since I don't eat eggs. It was crazy ordering bacon & slices of cheese at the deli in the morning!!

I bougth Jimmy Dean's froozen omelets that I can throw in the microwave. They are actually good, but how many days a week can I do that.

Re: Day One of Atkins Induction

that is great news, the only thing for me is that when I did the south beach diet and my gf did the atkins, yea we lost the weight but we got so tired of eating that way and the eggs got to me too. and if you dont have time to cook youre screwed too. so after my 2 weeks on south beach I had lost 14 lbs to only put it back on in about 2 weeks b/c I went back to eating regular again. my gf too, she got tired and actually sick of the bacon and eggs.

The biggest reason why I didnt do the Atkins is b/c , many of my patients ( 99%) who did the Atkins diet, lost a great deal of weight but now were on meds for high cholesterol and blood pressure meds. so I opted for SB but that didnt work for me.

Good Luck and please go and have your blood taken to make sure your cholesterol remains healthy!
