Daycare/Babysitter Rates
If you don't mind sharing, how much do you pay for you daycare/babysitter? I am having a really hard time finding someone to watch Kristopher. I found one that I loved for $200/week-she is a SAHM and she was a few minutes from my office. Now she says that her daughter will not do well with an infant. She is 28 months. DID YOU THINK ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU PUT THE AD OUT? Another-same rate-has a licensed family daycare. She was supposed to call me to give me directions...that was a week ago. She has yet to respond to my three emails.
He is no longer colic, he sleeps most of the day as long as he is swaddled, he smiles, coos and giggles and it's hard enough leaving him to go to work, but even worse when you don't have reliable care for him. My mother was supposed to watch him but can't handle three (Jules, my nephew AND him) which is understandable! But it gave me no time to find a sitter for him considering I didn't know he would need one. :(

I give my lady $100/day. she watches DD 3 days a week from 8-6

I have my daycare's rate sheet in front of me.
Infants are $297
5 days a week 8-6pm

I pay $50 a day for my sitter to watch the baby in her home. However I only use 2 days a week, she might charge less if it was 5 days a week

6:30am-7pm (same price).
Most babysitter charge about $40-50 per day.
