Daycare Center moms- Gift question
Do you give gifts to the Director and Asst Director as well as the teachers?
I never thought of that but saw it on another post and it got me thinking?
Or is just the teachers standard practice?
This is my first time and I don't want to be rude! TIA

I'll be getting for head teachers and the assistants. The head teacher in Colin's room is the director as well.
I'll probably give $50 to head teachers and $25 plus a small item (cookies/chocolate) to asst teachers.
A total of 4 gifts.

I am going to get a large box of chocolates for the whole office(the teachers that are in charge early in the morning, director, cook) and $50 gift cards for each of her teachers.

The first year I didn't. The second year I gave the director a bottle of wine. This year I will get her something else along with the owner. I feel that I have gotten to know them a little better and they are really good to us.

got vera bradley lunch totes for DS's teacher and assistant and will prob contribute to the class giftcard depending on how much they ask for. If it's too much I will give his 2 teachers $10 giftcard to DD or starbucks with the totes
*DS only goes 3 days

I send a large Edible Arrangement for the staff...
For the last two years I didn't even know who all of the staff were, who my DD was with during the day, etc. because there was a lot of turnover as well as people who work part time that I never got to see.. This year because I was on maternity leave I have finally been able to see everyone but I'm still not sure who is with my DD during the day so it's just easier to get one gift for everyone.

In the past I have given the head teacher and assistants a gift (gift cards). I have given the director a gift in the past, either chocolates or a bottle of wine.
