Daycare Cots question...bedding
Recently my DD moved to the toddler room, she is 16 mos. they want to try napping her on a cot instead of crib, they said she never fusses in crib and puts her self right to sleep, so they asked me is it ok with trying - I said ok. LEt me just get the bedding.
first question: what do you use - sheets? where would you buy that size? sleeping bag?
so you think this would interfere with her home sleeping in a crib?
thanks all !!

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
We provide the sheet and blanket to daycare every week. My DD still sleeps in a crib at home and has no trouble adjusting to cot sleeping at daycare.

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
Ryan just started sleeping on a cot and uses the crib sheet. He is easier to get to nap at home. For the past few days, nighttime is a different issue but I think it's teething...

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
ok, I will have to see when I pick up DD what size sheet - the crib sheet is the same size as pack and play sheet, I do not think that fits the cots.

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
I bought something like this for DS- (and of course I just bring a blanket...)
and he was still in a crib for awhile before we moved to a toddler bed- and it made no difference...
(but then again- we dont have the best sleep habits over here- so Im not sure we're a reliable source )

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
We bring a crib sheet and blanket each week and she sleeps fine in her crib at home-no issues.

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
a crib sheet from home will fit most cots, and a blanket to cover up with too....most likely this wont effect your child sleeping in a crib at home, most likely your child will associate the crib for home and the cot at daycare. I worked in daycare for 5 years , no parent has ever told me about an issue with sleeping at home because of the cot. good luck!

Re: Daycare Cots question...bedding
Thank you all ! I am going to use a reg. crib sheet - that should work fine, but Maris - I love that Lillian Kids pad - may do that too !
