Daycare food question
If your baby is eating table food do you send in food or feed them what daycare serves? If you send in food -- what are you sending? I'm not happy about my daycare's menu (chicken nuggets, bologna, pizza) so I'm still sending in lunches, but I'm running out of ideas. DS is just under 11 months.

Re: Daycare food question
I send in food with Jacob. I send him with cut up fruit, pastina, and chicken. Not the most exciting stuff but it works for now

Re: Daycare food question
Our daycare provides food and although it is not the healthiest (pasta, grilled chese, french toast) itis very hard to send in food because itis Kosher dairy (no meat allowed). I send in healthy snacks like fruit.

Re: Daycare food question
I was sending our own food, but DS wasn't eating it because he wanted what all the other kids were eating and was actually grabbing for their food. So I gave in, even though the school lunch isn't the healthiest thing.

Re: Daycare food question
My DD has alot of food allergies so I buy food to keep at daycare (I try and buy some of the same things that she serves - Just Emma safe). I also send food with DD everyday.
Some things I send.
Pasta and sauce. Grilled chicken Pastina type noodle Meatloaf All kinds of leftovers that can be heated up in the microwave.
For snacks I will send cups of fruit (like mandarin oranges and peaches) - Apple sauce - cheerios - Ritz crackers - jello - soy pudding - soy yogurt. etc...
