Daycare gift question
Do you give the teacher a parting gift when your child moves to the next room? If so, what do you give?
Also, do you give gifts for the holidays? If so, what do you give?

Re: Daycare gift question
I used to give $ when the girls moved up but lately it seems like they are moving up every 3 - 6 months. In addition, I used to give money when I only had one child. I can't afford to give money to every teacher every few months - I'd go broke. Sometimes there are 4 teachers in the room.
What I've done in the past, I've brought in bagels/bakery items or made a crumb cake.
I now just give whomever the current teachers are $25 per teacher during the holidays. They are extremely appreciative.

Re: Daycare gift question
I would get a gift card or a gift or maybe a nice gift basket with some edibles in it. I personally think cash is inapropriate to give to teachers. JMO though!

DON'T GET CANDLESTICKS...j/k I just had this issue last week and DH bought those.
I would go with a gc and maybe an edible arrangement type thing.
Bella moves up once a year and I also give a present at holiday time. I also love my daycare to death.
