Daycare moms... how/when do you shop for diapers,wipes other things needed?

I feel like I am constantly running to buy bulk. I buy double quantity on everything, formula, diapers, wipes, jar food but still feel like I am constantly running out of something. Do you buy a certain time of the month and stock up? Do you make frequent runs? I'm tired of hitting Wal Mart at 7:30am after dropping off the kids and heading to work.

We stock up on wipes and diapers so we dont have to keep running to the store.

I should send my FIL over to you. He loves to run errands and take out garbage I'm serious, he's a lil weird.

I must admit, IL's have a Costco membership and when they go I put in an "order"

Other than that, I do most of my shopping after 7 pm

I always shopped at night at the warehouse clubs - mianly BJs & Costco. Also I have a mother who is a shopper so I would get the "I'm in Costco, do you need anything?" calls.

I order online. Between Amazon, Diapers.com and Peapod...

DH buys them at Costco in bulk so we only end up getting them once a month.

I buy the big boxes of wipes and diapers so I dont feel like i am running to the store so often. If I do I usually go EARLY saturday morning to get it done.

I buy in bulk so I'm not constantly running to the store. I buy whenever there's a sale or I have a coupon, bot just when I need, so there's always extra in the closet.

That's just it, I buy in bulk, but at Wal Mart or Target. What is the largest size box of diapers at Costco or BJ's maybe it makes more sense to go there. I wish I had the "do you need anything" people in my life.

How often do you do a drop off at daycare?

I just find myself able to do a "one stop shop" if I go to these stores because I pick up other household things and kill two birds with one stone. Something's not right.

I'm constantly running out during my lunch hour at work. I have lots of stores near me so I can get pretty much anything.

I don't have the patience (or the time) for the insane lines at Costco during lunch even though there's one near me. And spending the day on those lines on a Sat or Sun is not my idea of a nice weekend either nor the best way to spend quality time with DS.... so lunch hour errands it is... such is the life of a working mom.

ETA: I buy Huggies and if I remember correctly, BRU carries the largest qty box, not Costco. Same for wipes.

I buy diapers and wipes whenever I have coupons, so I pretty much always have a spare box or two of everything. I box the large boxes of Pampers at BRU (2 large packages in each box) and the large boxes of Pampers wipes (6 or so packages in each box).

Im a Sunday night shopper usually. I do my formula and Diaper run, and once a month or so, get a giant case of wipes.

I'm not a bargain shopper. Maybe for big ticket items but not for grocery store things. If I actually made it to a store, I buy what I need & in bulk. That's what basements are for in my opinion.

I'm kind of new at this, but I've been buying the boxes of Target diapers to send to daycare and when they say then need more, I just send in the next insert. Same with wipes.

i buy the big box of huggies at bru w/coupons and the 6 pk of wipes there too. when they had the 5.00 off for huggies, i bought 3 boxes in 2 sizes to last a while.

Cailen outgrows his diapers so quickly that its actually less cost effective to buy bulk - I did in the beginning and wound up giving his diapers away to a lucky friend whose daughter was a good size smaller than him - so I buy the jumbo packs at most.

I get sheets home from daycare when he is running low. Thats when I buy more.

I buy at BJs and I buy 2 boxes of wipes and diapers at a time so I can go a while without having to buy.

I buy diapers and wipes in bulk. Formula is from Target and I can walk to one from work, so I get that during a break in my day. Food I just get whenever we food shop for the week. I sometime use 1800diapers.com.

DD started on 2/4 and we gave them a case of diapers and a case of wipes. So far all I have had to replenish is diapers once (today actually!!) because she needs a bigger size.
