Daycare Moms-Transition period?
DId you do guys do a transitional period before DC started daycare? If so, how long did you leave them?
DD's trans week is next week.

I played with them for a few hours there while I talked to the teachers. Then left them the next day for 2-4 hours for a few days.

I went to Emma's first daycare for 2 days - Just to get her aquainted with the staff.
I did the same for the daycare that she is in now.
It'll be ok!

I transitioned for a few days...maybe 3. Not full days just a few hours while I stayed with her and we all got used to it.

We had only one transition day - I know Katie is about the same age as your DD - we dropped her off for about 4 hours and called once to make sure she was OK.
She did fine that one day and we didn't feel the need for another transition day. They are so young at this age that it really isnt a big deal for them.
you know how it is, they want to be held, fed, changed and they smile at anyone who comes and talks to them.
I think the transition day was more for me and DH

Am I a bad Mom, I never did that with Roman? I just dropped him off and called all day long.

You are not a bad mom. I did the same thing on Tuesday, dropped him off and called all day.
