Daycare teacher--GIFTS
What do you give yours?
We had a group gift from all the parents in our room, $100 restaurant gift certificates for each teacher (there are 2 main ones)...split 8 ways isn't bad...
Just curious what others do...

In the three years my son has been in daycare we have never had a group gift. That would be a great help! Instead, I do individual gifts.

i think we are going to do either Visa or Mastercard gift cards, maybe something else small
probably $75 for the main teacher and $50 for his assistant
also a plate of cookies for the helpers

Our daycare is in our providers home so we are giving her one week pay.
But where is my xmas bonus? I get squat at work!

Last year I was told that everyone was giving one week pay for the week she was closed at the end of the year.
For my daycare situation I felt it was a lot, but I went with it and will do it again this year.
