Days off? I just checked my calendar and it seems...
Rosh Hashanah starts on a Friday night (September 18) this year which means 2 less days off for teachers. Im bummin. Yom Kippur is on a Monday so at least we get one day. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Then again, this all shouldn't matter to me as I will be sitting in Temple all day.

Oh yeah - I knew about this one - it stinks. Then again, down here - they only give one day off for Rosh Hashanah so I always had to use a personal day to take the other off I really can't afford to use that day this year, so I guess it works out for me.

Not to mention that services are 10 times longer on Shabbos. Oh its gonna be a LONG day!

I think that is why they didn't make a BIG stink about losing those 2 days before Labor Day....Since we don't get the days off for the high holidays, they don't exactly give us two extra days off! UGH!
