DC's first Christmas...decorations/traditions?
growing up we never decorated our house so i have no idea what to do. we always have a big gathering with alot of food but this is my first year with DS and i want to make it special. all we have is the tree which we'll put up after thanksgiving. i haven't bought his outfit yet or taken any professional pics or any pics for sending out cards.
what are you girls doing for decorations and traditions?

the biggest deal IMO is getting him a personalized stocking and hanging it next to ours  .
I also bought him a cute customized ornament (a blue and white bunny with eryk's first christmas 2008) on the lenox website.
I think the other big deal is basically recording history! Lots of video and pictures..... you can get a picture ornament for future years....

Last year was DD's first Christmas & we got her personalized PJ's, an ornament from Lenox (that we'll continue every year--& then give to her when she gets married); picture w/ Santa & every Christmas Eve I read, "twas the night b4 Christmas w/ her". We also make Christmas cookies for Santa, last year she was just in the bouncer while I made them.
