Re: DD AND THE BATH ROOM
my ds will be 3 in july. he is no where near being potty trained. i just keep trying and trying everyday. thats all i can do. i just keep taking him to the potty. she will get the hang of it eventurally. my dd was not trained till 3 years and 7 months old . at that point she was completely trained in 2 days!! just hang in there. believe it or not, she is still pretty young.

Re: DD AND THE BATH ROOM
My DS was not trained when he started preschool. I was so worried but they didnt care like they claimed they did when we first signed him up. They said a lot of them get it when they see all the other kids filing into the bathroom to use it, "peer pressure" of sorts. It was true bc he started in Sept (turned 3 in Oct) and by early Dec he was trained and did it practically overnight - peeing and pooping. No accidents ever. My DD is trained thankfully (she'll be 3 in July) but she was a lot more accidents and wet pants than my DS ever had. Your DD is definitely young, probably bc your older one trained so young, she seems big but she's not at all. Most kids I know have trained after 3. It is frustrating, I will totally agree there but one thing I've learned is there is no trick to making them get it when it comes to PT.

Re: DD AND THE BATH ROOM
Ava will be 3 in July and she has noooo interest at all. I am laying off the subject until after her birthday and then I will try again...Her daycare teacher said very few of them are trained at this age- but swears by summer they will all be...she said to be patient- it will happen!!

Re: DD AND THE BATH ROOM
My son turned 3 one week ago. He had been poopy trained for nearly 6 months, but was still in diapers because he wouldn't pee on the potty. On his b-day, we just said to him no more diapers, and put him in underwear. Yes, we had a few accidents the first day, but he is now trained in a little less than 5 days.

Re: DD AND THE BATH ROOM
I usually sit my DD on the potty and give her a book to look at. She focuses on the book and relaxes... then she does her thing. Maybe that will work for you?
