DD has a well visit tomorrow, but is sick

Is that OK??? It's her 2.5yr check up, so no shots. Will they still do the well visit even though she has a cold (and possibly an ear infection?)

They will still weigh, measure, check all over, etc. The only thing they would have put off would have been shots, which your DD isn't getting! Good luck!

my DS had his 6 month well check a week ago but was sick. dr did all of the normal things for the well check and we resched a week later for his shots. it should be fine since she doesnt need the shots and good since if she does have an ear infection they can take care of it.

We didnt have a 2.5yr check up, but no matter when, if she happens to be sick at the time, I find it a blessing.. One less appt to make to fit her in and see her doctor. If they had shots planned we do it another day but I've never 'not' taken her while she's sick.

As pp said they do all the same stuff and you get a sick visit too. haha

ETA: altho I did fight them once because a well visit was free and a sick visit was a cost. Still if she's sick I would have paid for it anyway. *shrug*
