DD has had a fever for over 24 hours

She got sent home from daycare yesterday. She's totally fine except for the fever. She just cut 2 molars and I know the other ones are on the way. Her coolie is REALLY red - no rash, just red.

My mom was able to watch her today, but not sure what I am going to do tomorrow. DH can't bc he picked her up early from daycare yesterday and I just started a new job.

Sorry - just whining....Chat Icon

That's not too bad, so that's a good sign! DS is cutting his molars too and it's been touch and go. I don't know what to say about the red coolie though. Can you try to air her out?

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I hope the fever breaks! Are you alternating Motrin with Tylenol? I'm sure the molars are causing the diaper rash (if it is one).

Re: DD has had a fever for over 24 hours

A couple of my friends babies recently had fevers for several days in a row with no other symptoms. Turns out that after the fever broke within a day they broke out into a rash all over. They had roseola. Now, I am not saying that is what she has...but if her fever continues for another day I would watch for a rash. I hope she is better soon.Chat Icon

DD had the same thing a month or so ago. Mysterious fever with no other symptoms. Dr. said it was a "virus".
