DD hates Diaper HELP

Ok so my DD has started taking her diaper off and doesn't want one on. So I went out and bought pull ups for her and she even rips those off. I have tried to put her on the toilet but she will jsut sit there and not go and then she will go in the kitchen and pee on the floor. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Then she will call me and when I I go into the kitchen she looks at me and says I made mess. I try to make going on the potty fun. When she actually goes on the potty I do a dance and a make up a song and show her how excited I am that she did this. How else can I make potty time fun that she will want to go on the potty? How do I keep her from pulling her pull ups off?

ETA: she is 22 months

Re: DD hates Diaper HELP

DD did exactly the same thing. She started taking off her clothes and her diapers. She mostly did it before a nap so we bought pull ups. At one point we had to safety pin her diaper to her clothes but that didn't always work. Maybe you could try a onesie. DD did this in the winter so overalls worked well.

She eventually stopped this. She is now 27 months and she is potty trained for #2. She did this completely on her own but I think it was mostly b/c the pull ups were tight and made it uncomfortable (sorry TMI). I am not forcing #1 since the ped said it was very early for her to be trained. I think she is just not ready to take that step.

You could also try Good Nights diapers. They do not have the velcro like pull ups so it is more like underwear.

Re: DD hates Diaper HELP

LOL LOL LOL can't help b ut laugh about safety pinning diapers thats funny the things we go through. Thank you for your advice and help I bought the pulls ups that have the cool alert thinking maybe she would feel uncomfortable but she doesn't keep it on long enough I am going to hav to put on a onsie even though its hot . If I have shorts on her or capris she pulls on the diaper or pull up from the sides and rips them off. At least I am not the only one who is going through this.
I will also buy the good nites when I get home from work
Thanks so much

Did you try getting her "Big Girl" underwear with Dora, Tinkerbell, etc? Put it under her pull-up.

I haven't done that I was thinking about that at least then she will still have something on if she pulls off the pull up even though she will still pee it will be directly on her and make her uncomfortable hopefully that she will want to use the potty

Thanks

Honestly yesterday if I had some with me I would of put it on.

I was at a christening and DD had a dress on with the cute little matching pants on top of a pull up and all of a sudden I look on the dance floor and there is my DD with pull up in hand waving it. It was funny but I just wanted her to keep it on thats all I needed was for her to pee and have someone be dancing and slip and fall.
