DD is 7 months old- should I introduce yogurt?

I haven't yet- she's already had most fruits, veggies and grains- she eats Earth's Best and it's oftentimes hard to find all the different varieties they make- anyway- should I get the YoBaby? Does anyone just feed their DC plain whole milk yogurt and mix it in w/ the baby food?
how many times a day/week does DC get yogurt?

DS eats earth's best also and is 7 mths. I just started yobaby last week. I have feed it to him a handful of times already. This morning for breakfast I mixed vanilla favor yobaby w/ his banana oatmeal and he loved it.

Sure! I introduced it at six months and that is what Molly has for lunch everyday after her bottle. I do the Yo-baby...all kinds...with cereal, the plain ones. I buy the individual ones for the convenience since we are always on the go with Jack.

absolutely! yogurt is SO good for them but it may constipate or make her gassy (not in an abnormal way).

I believe Bxgell2 gives Alex plain yogurt with applesauce EVERY morning for breakfast....the regular kind too...plain, whole fat yogurt.

So were the girls - but we tried it (6 mos.) and they were fine. I give it almost every day - they split the container for lunch.

Definately, she will love it! We have the YoBaby.

Jodi -- did you try it? some babies who have a milk protein allergy are ok with yogurt.

No I haven't. I'm still solid food challenged. I can't figure out how to add lunch and still get her to drink some formula.

I'm alittle scared to try it. What kind of reaction will she have if she's allergic?

TOO funny - we had the same crazy preg. things going on and now this. I am struggling with this too! If I give them too much food, they won't eat their bottles - either way they have 2 oz. after solids, then 1/2 later or an hour later they're hungry. We're going through the same thing here - I know, on top of not napping! Chat Icon

I honestly don't know what the reaction would be, but when we found out they had the allergy it was just blood in their stool. They absolutely love yogurt - all the flavors! I've heard that most babies outgrow the allergy so you might be ok. I give them the yogurt first, then the bottle. If I give them the bottle first then food they always gag and spit it all out.
