DD is sick and only 3 weeks old
DS had a cold and gave it to everyone in the house. Now DD is sick and I feel so bad for her. The doc said there is nothing we can do for her b/c she is too little. Can u moms suggest some home remedies?

Definetely use the humidifier in her room. Are you allowed to use the Little Noses saline spray to help with her congestion?
ETA: Ask your ped. if you can use the Vicks Baby Rub on her. It is natural w/lavendar, no chemicals.

I used some of that on her today. I think it works. It says for infants/toddlers.

She just sounds congested and a little bit of mucus coming out of her nose. But its not constantly coming its only when she sneezes and when i use the bulb on her.

Also, let her sit in the bathroom while the hot shower is running. The steam from the water will help clear her up.

I'm in the same boat. I had a cold and gave it to my 2 year old and 2 week old....
