DD is so sick and weak she needed help with presents.
I know Christmas is not about the presents, but I have to say that the past two days have been miserable. Yesterday morning DD had such a bad stomach bug with so much vomiting that the last time it was clear neon green bile. Not even water stayed down and when I called the ped on call, I was told the green bile was alarming and we should go to the ER.
So we spent five hours in the ER getting fluids and running tests and they also gave her antibiotics for a possible UTI and this morning was just sad. She was so weak she couldn't sit up and open presents. She was thirsty and drank a lot of water (even though we tried to stop her from drinking so much) and then it all came back out. Just clear like it went down. Still cool too 
I just feel tired and cranky and spent. I thought the beginning of my 2nd trimester would be when my exhaustion would pass and I would begin to feel better but I just tired and mentally stressed and want a Christmas do over.
Sorry, I know there are far worse things than a stomach bug, but 5 hours in the ER watching my child get poked and prodded was just not my idea of joyful.

So sorry to hear this. The stomach virus that is going around is really bad and it is hitting some kids really hard! She should start to feel better in a day or two. Try her with pedialyte ice pops. She can't eat them as fast or just give her a little bit of water in a cup...I know it is stressful enough around the holidays, but being pregnant and having a sick one is making it worse. Maybe later you can all just sit and relax. And take it easy too. Hope she feels better soon...Merry Christmas!

I am so sorry I found being pg and having another child to be so much more difficult b/c of times like these hang in there - it WILL get better

Thanks for the love, ladies. Sadly, I got the bug and was puking five times last night. Just got up and had some toast and ginger ale and praying for a better day
