Dear Building Managers
Is it really necessary to test the fire alarm every day
You let it go off - people start to wonder, then you come on and say false alarm - or "this is only a test"
keep this up and when there is a real fire, no one will pay attention.

Re: Dear Building Managers
I am SO with you!
When it goes off at my job, I just sit there. I am tired of the "panic attack" for nothing!

Re: Dear Building Managers
ughhh..we had this all morning yesterday.
They announce that it "is only a test" no joke, fifty million times and people in my office still freak out and think they should evacuate

Re: Dear Building Managers
Do we work in the same building? They seem to "test" our fire alarm everyday around here.

Don't you work in the same building as me? 505 8th.
Is the PA system in your office set at volume 100 also?
I know the testing is helpful but it freaks me out, I worked across the street from the WTC & had to evacute on 9/11.
Two people died in my building in the elevator. It brings back really scary memories.
