Dear Inconsiderate Drivers
My street is not the d@mn Indy 500, please show a little respect for the residents and the children that live here and when I ask you to slow down don;t tell me to @#$% off. You kiss your kids with that mouth?

OMG couldnt agree more! I told DH that I want to get one of those tack strips and roll it out in front of the house every time a car speeds by so they get a flat.
On occasion, I've been known to aim my hose at the speeding cars while I'm out watering flowers

I HATE our street for this reason. It's a residential street, but it attaches to a major roadway, so cars FLY by, despite the stop signs (most don't even stop at the stop signs.). We can barely get out of our driveway most days. It's horrible.

Well I called the Suffolk PD Scope Unit because I am fed up with all this BS. Most of the times it is the parents that are racing to drop their kids off at the school, yesterday it was some punk @ss doing 65 down the middle of the block while I was walking with the baby
