The only thing I heard him saying was "I tried to get somebody else, but there was noone out there". Then I shut the TV off cuz I didn't want to hear anymore of his BS. He talks out of his arse too much.

Yes! That interview reminded me of the Glavine interview last year after the season was over. Why bother interviewing boneheads...

Heilman is the king of boneheads...To think he wanted to be a starter?...You can't even do your current job. The day he becomes a starter is the day (and I swear on my grandmother's grave) I am no longer a mets fan. That would be the icing on the cake for me...

If I saw any of the interviews, I probably would've kicked the TV in.
Before I went to the game yesterday, I DVR, the entire game and the ceremony. I don't want to erase it because I don't want to lose the ceremony

i was so ****** because we DVR'ed the post game /ceremony... and it didnt tape cause the game lasted longer than expected... i only caught half way through .. i was at a darn bridal shower..

see, i kinda felt the opposite for him. he seemed shell-shocked. I actually felt really bad for him. honestly, it wasn't all his fault. offensively, we had nothing. you can't have only 5 runs in the two most important games of the season.

I was quite angry at Shoenweis, but then I just heard he had a child born premie last month. I know I'd be stunned after that too.
As for Minaya: You should've been gone with Willie!!!!!
Did the Mets officially announce his 4 year contract, or is that still 'speculation'?

I am pretty sure thats already been written signed and sealed. Willie would not have made a difference. The players didnt want to play for him. They didnt like playing the "Yankee way"
No kids in the clubhouse, no music no facial hair. That didnt go over real well with the team.
The Mets need to make some big time changes next year. It should start with the hiring of a new GM but that wont happen.
I can almost guarentee Omar doesnt make it through this 4 year extension.
Show was actually one of our better pitchers out of the bullpen so you cant really take aim on him.
They should keep Showenweis and maybe Bobby Parnell in the pen but Parnell might become our 5th starter next year. We def need a closed but Krod is asking a ton of money and word is he doesnt like NY.
Ayala might be ok as a setup man but he isnt a closer.
Church might be let loose also if they dont think he can play up to his potential after his injury. Delgados option will most likely be picked up but if its not Nick Evans is actually a 1B by nature. David Murphy is not an OF he could be moved to 2B. Fmart might be up early next yr to play LF and if Church is no longer there Tatis/Chavez will most likely platoon RF.
They should throw the entire bank at CC and have a 1-2 punch of CC and Santana with Maine, Pelfrey and Neise the other 3 starters.

I don't think they should keep schoenweiss. He's been bad all season. I'm sorry. Yeah he had his saves and his moments but over all he stunk. Him and Heilman should be gone.
I was telling DH the other day that they should go after CC.

i was so angry i didnt see it that way i guess.. but he did seemed shocked..lol
and i had no idea he had a preemie the month before
