Dear Toy Manufacturers,
As much as we love all of the brightly colored toys that you make, that are all painted so vividly in bold primary colors..
Why is it that DS seems to be more interested in the silver remote control for the TV, my black and silver laptop computer, my black cell phone and my silver digital camera???
I am starting to think my baby might enjoy your toys more if you colored them silver or black!!!! This way I won't have to worry about "drool damage" potentially voiding my warranties!!!!
Sincerely,
Mom looking for a distraction for my child!

Re: Dear Toy Manufacturers,
I think they love the contrast. Mine is entranced by our ceiling fan (black against a white ceiling).

ITA it's the contrast.
My DC's have been fascinated with my wedding day sign-board that hangs above the couch... it's the black marker against the white background.
Or maybe they are thinking... "Hey, who's that pretty woman standing next to Daddy? What happened to her? "

Totally hear you on this one... I've been working a lot from home lately and I think poor DH has only seen me in sweat pants, hair in a pony tail and no make up!!!
