Dear Yahoo and Children's Clothes Makers...
Dear Yahoo and to all Children's Clothes Makers,
PEOPLE..It's July! Yesterday when I went to sign onto my yahoo e-mail account I was sick to my stomach when I saw a school theme surrounding the Yahoo! logo! Are you kidding me! It's July 24...not August 24th.
Then last night while watching Law and Order there were ads for back to school clothes! Again...it's July 24th!
Can you give us another month here?

I know.. but you know what it is.. many states go back in august so I think they just dont differentiate.

My friend teaches at a year round school - she starts next Monday.
And in many parts of the south they start in like 3 weeks.

I agree but a lot of people start before we do.
My friend in CT starts Aug 27 and in the south they start in 2-3 weeks.
I did go to Staples and bought some 5 cent pencils and 1 cent folders this weekend. I can't pass up a bargain.

OMG YES! Yesterday at Stop and Shop they had Halloween M&M's and candy corn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As much as I love candy, and Halloween, ITS NOT EVEN AUGUST!

Same at Home Goods, there was like two aisles of Halloween and Thanksgiving items--Also I went to the GAP, all Fall clothes--so depressing :(

Eh - they always get a jump on the seasons. I see bathing suits out immediately after x-mas.
I'm really not bothered by it, only was when I got back to school adds before the year had even ended ;)
ETA: Plus - at this point it's far enough off that I'm not really getting anxious, just excited to buy new stuff for my room!

I know! I went to Target last week to buy patio furniture, and they had turned the "outdoors" section into the "Back to School" section! Guess it shows where my head is at, compared with the rest of the world.
