December Moms
How are you all doing? How are you feeling? When is everyone due?
I'm 16 wks., due Dec. 1st and finally getting some energy back. I'm not completely at my old energy level, but much better. I actually went walking the last few days, and it feels good. I was very active before getting pregnant, but over the last few months, I was too tired or sick to do much.
MS seems to be gone too, along with the phantom bad smells. Haven't felt movement yet, or at least I don't think I have.
Now my biggest concern is whether to go for an amnio or not. I have an appt. and my doctor is advocating for one (mainly due to my age, over 35), but I'm leaning towards a 20 week scan and quad screening instead.
Anyway, hope to hear how some of you are doing.

Re: December Moms
I am currently 15 weeks and am feeling well. I seem to be a bit better everyday - thank god. Most of my MS is gone and energy is slowly coming back. My main problem now is constant headaches - and they kill too. I am still up to pee a lot at night though. I find out next Tuesday what I am having and can not wait!!

Re: December Moms
I've head a pounding headache just about every day. I can't take it anymore. Tylenol has stopped working. I've had trouble getting comfortable at night. But my energy is back. I want to start my yoga this week. I get some blood test this week... sorta like the ultrascreen. I was up in the air about the ultrascreen, then once I was ready to do it, I couldn't get an appt. Have my first u/s in three weeks!!! YAY!!! I cannot wait!

Re: December Moms
Yeah, my clothes are really getting too tight now. I keep trying to hide my belly, but I think at this point, it's not possible. Not sure why I'm trying to hide it--maybe too many years spent hiding any extra bulge.
This past week, I think it became somewhat obvious to anyone who knows me that I'm pregnant, though strangers might still think I'm fat or drink too much beer! Before that, I just looked pudgy.
Oh yeah, I started crying easily too, over the littlest things or nothing at times. I can't say I feel depressed at all, just emotional.

Re: December Moms
I really want to find some cute summer dresses for work, non maternity with empire waist maybe. I hate wearing pants in the summer, and none of my shorts fit me. I don't feel like I have the right to buy maternity yet. I feel like the really pregnant ladies will think I'm mocking them.

Re: December Moms
I am 15 weeks - due December 6 I have been feeling well since last Tuesday - it is so weird how it just turned around. I am still really tired but not as bad. Right now I have a sinus infection that is draining me! I have also been getting headaches off and on (which is normal for me pre-pregnancy), my doctor said to have a small cup of tea in the morning and the caffeine seems to help. I am not really showing yet but my clothes are uncomfortable so I cannot wait for work to be over and to wear my comfy summer clothes!!

Not to bust in on your thread, but you have to have the ultrascreen by 14 weeks so I'd get on that. I tried to make mine for 14 weeks, 1 day and they wouldn't let me.
Good luck

Re: December Moms
You better make the appt now though. The place I had to go to was booked and couldn't take me... so I didn't get it done. They wouldn't do it past 13 weeks, big jerks.

It isn't that they won't do it past 13 weeks, it is that they can't do it. The measurement that they need to get is visable between 11-13 or 14 weeks.
So, if you are going to get it done, I would do it asap.

What I meant was that a lot of places will do it up to 14 weeks, but my place WOULDN'T do it past 13. I know that they CAN'T do it past 14.

That's odd.
Your doctor couldn't call and get you an appointment? How annoying
