deciding weather i should file a harrasment against a employee
Ok let me start by saying this a 62 year old woman who can act like she is 2 years old! for a while we have been getting along we actually exchanged numbers and e-mail address and if it snowed she would pick me up! well lately she been acting like a b!tach. My boss gave a new job to do on top of my reg job which is making sandwiches i am also doing The yogurt parfait bar and making pudding and jello for another co-worker so i feel like i have 3 jobs and yesterday she called me a lazy sack of shiat because i would not bring her cutting boards for her in the back dishroom which i set up for her in the morning and i did not even get a thank you. than today she started her crap again! this time I had time do do sandwiches and i was helping her out well i made some roastbeef and she was like i dont want you making any salad sandwiches we have a enough well i leave at 2:30 and i dont have time to do it later so i did them oh she went berserk and said you going to do what ever you want you dont listen to me i TOLD YYOU NO SALAD SANDWICHES! she decides to lay it in to me until she made me cry. i tell ya i help her out but she does not appreciate it! ughhhh I dont want to go to work tomorrow she will be there. but i made after the chicken salami and cheese and bologna and tuna. i tell yea this is not my week i feel so hated and i know i shouldn't i just feel like everyone is against me i am so depressed I mean at work not here!I need some hugs.thanks for listening to me vent.

First off...you are making me very HUNGRY!!!!!!! Secondly, I dont think I would make a harrassment complaint based on this incident. I think you will end up causing more chaos for yourself. I would only make a complaint if she throws the salad at you ; )
This week sounds kind of tough for you. My advice...tommorrows friday...hang in there ...then think of some ways over the weekend to make things work for both of you. You sound like you were both friendly at one point. Talk to her, find out whats bothering her. Maybe its something that has nothing to do with you. Whatever it is just remember TGIF!!!!!!! Good Luck

Ro- sometimes you have to charge at people to put them back in their place, if not they keep pushing and pushing...pick u your chin, go back tomm and charge at her the next time she opens her mouth! she wont mess with you no more...

Actually my boss said it was harassment because of what she said! But now its all over and she is acting like the old co-worker i use to know the nice one! i guess she was having a bad week but i put my foot down and stood my ground and stood up to her.

It's harassment in that she is harassing you, but there are no laws to cover minor arguments between co-workers. Probably because there would be entirely too many lawsuits for anyone to deal with.
