Decorating Wall Help - Updated w/more pics

what would you put on this wall? Mirror, pics, shelves, other? The wall is BM Carlisle Cream and the accent colors are sage green and burnt orange or sage green and turquoise(haven't decided yet). The red curtains are coming down when we put the new ones up which will be beige. Just haven't decorated yet because I don't have any place to put decorations I have bought. Any ideas would be great....pics would be great too.

your house is looking great!!! I love everything so far!
I think a combo of shelves so you can display some of your stuff & either iron grills or maybe large colorful plates.

I always seem to be a sucker for mirrors in dining rooms. Plus, you'll be able to see the reflection of your beautiful kitchen! Chat Icon

Re: Decorating Wall Help

The a/c cover is sold in the Harriet Carter Catalog. I had ordered one about 3 years ago. I think they still sell them.

They sell them at Home Depot, Lowes & Ace Hardware. Just make sure the bag says "Inside A/C Cover".

And thanks for the idea for the DR.

I was thinking mirrors too, but I really want some shelves too. Do you think a mirror in the center and floating shelves around it would look good or too much? And thank you.....I love my Kitchen. Chat Icon

I would do a large mirror in the middle and have sconces on either side.

I like the idea of a big mirror and sconces on the side...not a huge fan of the shelves - maybe if you just did one on each side.... what about corner shelves in the right corner? and you really have shelves in the entertainment unit, so I don't know that you need them.... looks beautiful though!! :)

I have a mirror with 2 sconces on the side. I also have a buffet table underneath that I use to display candles, pictures, etc. If you don't have room for a buffet table, the have narrow accent tables that I think would look better than shelves.

Here is my dining room

I love the look. Thanks for posting the pic. Yeah I wish I could have a buffet table, but there isn't that much room. I might have to look into a narrow accent table though. Thanks for the idea.
