Decorating with wedding picture poll
Its been 2 years that I'm married and my photographer out of the blue just sent me an 8X10 of a shot that I had her do specially for my album because i loved it. i still love it and it came out great but do i still put up wedding pictures after 2 years..> we just moved into a new house so we're still decorating.. i mean one or two in the bedroom maybe but...what are your thoughts???

I'd put them up! My parents still have their wedding pics up and it's been over 35 years!!! Friends of ours have a bunch up as well.
We put up some in our hallway (some of my favorites) and one in our dining room.

I've been married 31 years and I still have a picture of my wedding displayed in my living room. Put it up. You'll be happy you did.

ok, I'm in the minority.... we tend to not display photos everywhere.... only 3 photos are framed, and they're all in our bedroom...

we have one picture and it's in a display cabinet. I say put it up. I think putting them all over the place is overkill but why not have a few up?

i would put them up! we've been married a little over two years, and still have a few wedding pics up. we have two big ones up in the living room ( one of the 2 of us, and one of the whole wedding party), and we have a black and white one of us in our bedroom, plus a nice one of just the guys framed on a shelf in the living room.... your wedding is an important day no matter how long ago it was. i would hang them up!

I was at my friends house, and her parents have their wedding pictures up, they have quite a few actually. THey also have their 3 daughters that got married photos up as well, and i mean big 8x10's and some even bigger,
I think it is so nice to walk into someones house and see old pictures, and new pictures, it tells a story, and shows that you are proud of your family

I have one 11 x14 in my entry way and I've been married almost 7 years. And one or two smaller ones around in the LR. Definitely put it up!!

i absolutely agree. i LOVE looking at photos in people's houses. we only have one wedding pic up now, a 20x24 in our living room. but i ordered prints and when we move into our new house, i will be displaying some of us with family at the wedding in the hallway going up the stairs, as well as one or 2 smaller ones of us in the living room. the 20x24 will either go in the hallway or dining room, not sure yet.

My mom has 11x14 pictures of her six kids on their wedding day with their spouses. On another wall she has 8x10 pictures of her 14 grandchildren. People always look at the pictures. I say go for it.

Only married for over 1 year and I only have a few pics (3 to be exact) of our wedding in the house. I am not a big displayer of myself all over the house.
It does not matter how long you have been married. If you like it and like to hang pics, just do it! Why not?
