decrease in baby movement?
i have noticed in the past 2 days or so that the baby's not moving as much as she was a few weeks ago. i dont know if its because shes on the big side and running out of room.. but im almost 31.5weeks. so i dont know if its something i need to be calling the doc about or if this is totally normal??

I would keep my eye on this.. Eat a piece of chocolate and lay on your back for at least 20 min see if that gets her going.. If not call the Dr.. I am sure she is just a sleepy baby and things are getting tight in there..

Re: decrease in baby movement?
i had this happen a few times, drink something really cold, or something sweet like juice and count the kicks. 10 kicks per hour is what im told, HOWEVER! My son my whole pregnancy never moves 10 times a hour. lol and my doctor said its b/c i probably restrict my sugar too much from GD, and it might just be his personality. And as she gets bigger the real estate in there gets smaller and more crowded. If you are concerned just give your OB a call. But i experience this sometimes. And he is fine.

Re: decrease in baby movement?
thanks katie... i noticed that ive been really uncomfortable lately because she moves between being head down and then being sideways. and usually when im uncomfortable shes sideways and im sure shes just running out of room or just getting pooped out considering the medicine in the t-pump totally wears her out because her HR is usually around 178. and they say its normal but it will eventually catch up with her!. i just really dont want to go to L&D and i know thats what they will want me to do!

Anytime hun they might, but they will give u a Non Stress Test. Which is hook u up to a monitor, and give u a button to press every time u feel her. And just see that her HR goes up and sustains it for 15 sec and then goes back down.
