Decreased movement/nesting/loss of mucuos plug before labor? True or False?

Hi ladies...i'm due in 22 days and SO ready to have this baby! I'm praying that she comes soon and have been sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for something to happen!

Did you experience a slow-down of movement right before giving birth? Nesting? Loss of plug? Contractions? I don't know what to expect lol

Totally false for me. I never nested, never lost my plug, and DD was very active right up until I had her - at 41+weeks!

-DD was VERY active up until I delivered...in fact she was jumping all around and all the sudden my water broke!!
-I nested my entire 9th month!
-Lost it while in labor.
-I had no BH contractions but did have a lot of AF like cramps days leading up to giving birth

___The day before my water broke I was really very tired and felt kind of lethargic, whereas before I had more energy...I just kinda felt off.....It is so hard to predict!

It's going to be different for everyone, but for me:

I did have decreased movement the last week or so, I remember always poking my belly to get her to move towards the end.

I lost my mucous plug when I woke up that morning and gave birth 8 hours later.

I nested here and there but nothing crazy and I don't even remember if it was right before labor started... just sporadic I guess.

I never nested, or atleast that I can remember.

I did notice decreased movement. So much so that I mentioned it to my dr. at my appt. I had my regular appt. at 11am and I went into labor at 9:30pm.

I lost my mucous plug at almost the same time my water broke and contractions started.

I had decreased movement the last two weeks. I mostly just felt her move at night.

I nested a lot once I hit my 3rd trimester.

I lost my mucuos plug and an hour later my contractions started. 9 hrs later I had the baby.

I never nested. but...I did have decreased movement the 2 weeks before delivery and I lost my plug about 5 or 6 days before DD was born. I had contractions at 6 am and she was born at almost midnight that night. loong day. LOL. GL!

I never nested. I definitely was feeling decreased movement towards the end. I started losing my mucous plug THREE WEEKS before I had my son. I ended up having a scheduled C-section one week before my due date b/c of some complications. At that point, I was still only 1.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced so who knows when I would have naturally gone into labor.

With my first, no decrease in movement. Did lose mucous plug and severe nesting the few days before.

With my son. Def decrease in movement, big time. I actually went to the hospital on Saturday cause I was concerned, he was born Tuesday. Never lost my plug with him. Did have major nesting especially the days before he was born

I didnt have decreased movement at all.

I nested my entire pregnancy, so I cant help ya on that one Chat Icon

I lost my mucus plug almost 2 weeks before I was induced. If it were up to DS, I'd still be pregnant with him now (he's 9 months old btw)Chat Icon Chat Icon

So, for me, these "signs" werent accurate. I tried everything to get that kid out naturally but he just wouldnt budge.

With both I lost my mucus plug.

My first pg was my daughter and with her it "came" out then I started having contractions. I went to the dr and he said to head to the hospital. I needed pitocin to get going, but she arrived the day it came out.

Similiar with my son, I woke up about midnight to pee and I noticed it. About 1 am or so I heard my water break and contractions started hard and fast.
