Deer park outlet help! for today!
We want to go to the outlets in deer park this morning - can anyone help me with two questions.
Last time we went the website suggests going on the sagatos parkway and than takes you these back roads. Is that the best way to get there?
Also last time we were there the only thing open to eat was chipotle and nathans hotdog stand - has jonny rockets opened yet? If not can anyone tell me if there is a place near the outlets to get lunch - we will have our 17.5 month old with us so it needs to be family friendly. I'm not familiar with the area.

Honestly, it really is on Commack Road, so I would take northern state to the vanderbilt parkway/commack road exit and take that south. You'll go under the LIE after about a mile and it's about another mile or so south of that on the left hand side.

the burger place is open.. and yummy
i took LIE to 52- Commack road south go straight down- when you cross over the RR tracks, you make a left at the light by home depot-you'll see a sign for the outlets
alot better then looking for street signs of back roads

My MIL drove me and I didn't watch how she got there-sorrry! Not sure if Johnny Rockets is open (hope so!)-but there were a lot of children in strollers and it is wide and open.

Went yesterday and took Commack Road. Johnny Rockets is open, but expect a wait. No problem to bring strollers, you just can't bring the christmas tree store shopping cart into most stores.

There's a Ruby Tuesdays right on Commack Road. If you head all the way down commack road (south???) to 231 there's Panera, a few diners, a friendly's, pizza place and every fast food you can think of.

THANK YOU!!!! That was just the info we needed - last time we went we ended up driving back roads and in the middle of no where and then there was nothing really for DD to eat - so luckily we were only there quickly to pick up her christmas dress but we wanted to check out a few places today so I know we will be needing to go out to eat eventually. This was so helpful!
