DELAY- round three (long- sorry)

So I spoke to my RE today and I cant do the biopsy this month either. I am still on steroids and antibiotics (supposed to finish this week but I am pretty sure thats not going to happen). This is the 3rd cycle since I am suppose to have this test and havent been able to do it because of this sickness.

It started out as bronchitis, now they say its walking pneumonia.

On top of being sick and tired of being sick, I am sick and tired of being stuck. I know I cant do anything as far as IVF until I am healthy and my health is more important, I just want to move on already with these tests and see if I can get some answers dammit.

So now I have to wait until next cycle , so that means the end of January and I can only do it then if I am healthy and off meds for the whole cycle, which only gives me 3 more weeks to get better and I dont think that is going to happen either. So we very well could be talking end of February before I can do this friggin test. This is so unfair, I have been OK with the delay until now but right now I just want to cry. Ok... well actually I am crying.

As if the powerlessness we feel with IF isnt enough...

I can't imagine how frustrating it is for you!!! Just focus on getting better, that way you can go all out for the next cycle!!!

I have a feeling '07 is gonna be "the year" for all of us!!!!

I feel so bad for you. As Lisa said, I understand how frustrated you must feel. I really hope you get better in the next couple of weeks so you can have your tests done.
I can't believe how time is flying, these "recent" graduates are all like four months PG already!!!

thanks, I know this sounds pathetic, ( I guess that is my mood right now) but I keep thinking how you all will have your babies in your arms before I can even get this freaking test done.

Please dont get me wrong, I am so thrilled for all of you recent graduates, but I would like a chance to catch up, So what do you girls think, can you carry those babies for 10 or 11 months? for me? please?

Sweetie, Im so so sorry.

There has to be a reason for this.

Try as hard as you can to enjoy the holidays...enjoy Ryan...he may not be an only child for christmas much longer....think of it that way...EAT and DRINK lots of alcohol while you can

Then take the new year on...Start getting healthy...Once you start breathing easier, you will see things better as well, cause it just STINKS being sick and for long, things seem jaded ya know?

Get anything in order after the new year you need to, cause you know the IVF cycle can be a hectic time.

Before you know it , it will be here and time to get started again.

I know, these are corny "excuses" and things you have heard unfortunatly 10 times before in your life, but we'll all help do what we can to make time go faster for ya.

I will pray time flies and of course you feel better SOON!!!

I am so sorry - I can imagine how these feelings creep up on you, especially at the holidays and now that there are a few people cycling in January

I can't make you feel better but I hope the hopelesness is temporary and you do get better soon and can move on

Hey Pauline - I just saw this now. I am so sorry, I know how frustrating this is. I am the most impatient person on earth but this stuff really puts us to the test.

Please, please take care of yourself - if you need to take a leave from work to get better than so be it. Try not to run on full speed during the holidays - I know it is so hard but that is what I am doing this year for the first time in my life.

I would love love love if we all had babies at the same time....but I don't know if this kid will want to wait, lol. My sister toldme last night she went into labor 2 weeks AFTER her due date and then was IN labor for a WEEK!! So you never know...



Please GET better so you can FEEL better...

I'm so sorry! Sounds like you are really sick so add on the fact that you are sick AND dealing with IF and the unknown - thats a crappy combo. My thoughts are with you.

Why aren't these meds you're on making you better already? Can't they switch your antibiotic? I mean, come on! 3 months?!?!

I'm sorry you've been so sick and that's it has put a delay on everything!

Believe I know it's frustrating as I'm dealing with something similar - who knows maybe this delay is meant to be and you and I will cycle around the same time

Right now it's most important for your health to be at 100% - please take care of yourself and get better.
