Personally, I don't think that either of you were wrong. You weren't wrong, because him talking dirty seemed foreign to you, and made you uncomfortable. And I don't think that he was wrong either because he felt vulnerable enough to open something he liked to you, and you shot him down... especially after he received your new move.

I agree with Lichi - I don't think either of you were wrong. As long as you weren't too harsh with the rejection, it's good to speak up about what you like and don't like. They say that it's better to emphasize the positive in a situation like that so instead of saying "I don't like that" try "I like this [instead] so much better".

I give you credit for trying new things along with your DH. It's good to be honest what you like and don't like though and telling him in a nice way will spare his feelings. Maybe mention it to him tonight that you hope he wasn't upset that you didn't enjoy the dirty talk and that you are willing to try new things with him.
