Has anyone taken any? Are they a lot of work?

Re: Dellaclave Online Courses

I have! I took 4 of them online, for inservice credit. I took:

Virtual Renaissance
Rubrics: A fair and clear assessment
Building Blocks to to creating a Writers workshop program
I took another one, but can't think of the name of it.

they were pretty easy, you had a month to do 10 assignments (out of like 20). you could log in whenever you wanted, there was no set class time. Some of the classes required you to participate in a message board, again, whenever you wanted.

The Virtual Renaissance class was my favorite. I remember making my own Mona Lisa and creating a poem about her, and going to different musuem websites and doing websearches to find different artists.

Unfortunately, my school district won't accept Dellecave anymoreChat Icon

i haven't taken the on-line ones, but i've taken a few Dellecave ones at their offices in Oakdale. Not a lot of work at all.

Re: Dellaclave Online Courses

My DH took several (online and on their site in Oakdale) through Dellacave. I think they were relatively painless.

DH has taken several courses at the same site and found them to be fairly easy. Their online ones are actually more work, but still not too awful.
