Dental Implants....
So..I need 2 of them. My dentist said that roughly it will cost $8,000 Insurance will pay for the post and crowns. (that is it)
I dont have the $$$ now.
Anyone ever use those dental implant centers you always see advertised for cheap??

What are you being charged for besides the posts and crowns? When you say implant, is there currently no tooth where you need them?
I'm dealing with my own tooth issue which is costing me almost 3K for a root canal and a post/crown (no dental insurance), and some other procedure called crown lengthening which seems awfully invasive, which they would need to do before putting the crown on (I have a temp now). I think I'm being taken advantage of, so just curious exactly what work you are having done too.

Crown lengthening is not very invasive if it's done right. If you feel like you are being taken advantage of, then switch dentists.

It is a lot of money but you are better off paying this, than having it done twice ( I have seen that).
And you will have to wait 4-6 months before they can do the post and crown, so you can just try to save more $.
