Dental surgery and TTC
Of course I have been scheduled for oral surgery on the same day as my O date for this month......I cannot change it either this is the only time suregon had this month.
My question is - should we still BD even if I will be on pain meds and anitboiotc for the week following the surgery? Or should I skip this month all together?

You can do it as long as you are not PG.
As far as med, only take med that are safe for pregnancy.

Re: Dental surgery and TTC
Sorry just to be clear - My surgery and my estimated date of ovulation this month are on the same day. I am worried that if I concive during this time - I will be doing so knowing that I have a week's worth of antiboitic and pain meds to take.
I would never schedule a surgery (and neither would my surgeon) knowing or even suspecting that I may be pregnant.

Is there anyway you could move it up a week?
Also - thank you for posting this - it was my reminder to call and schedule for my wisdom teeth to come out (on hold with them now!! )

Yes ladies - please please go to your dentist to get any work done before ttc.
This is just delaying me even more ...... I should have done this before starting.

Don't beat yourself up-this happens to many of us and we all seem to get caught in the same predicament!
