dental work while being pregnant?
I just ate frozen yogurt with sprinkles... and I chipped the back molar!!! What is the deal with dental work... can we get it done? Are they going to have to take the whole tooth out? AHHH!!!

I think it depends on what is wrong, and your dentist.
My dentist has me going for cleanings every 3 months since PG hormones make you more susceptible ot pregnancy induced gingivitis.
I have a new cavity but he doesn't want to fix it until after teh baby is born.
Call your dentist and see what htey say and follow up with your OB/Midwife to see how they feel about dental work in PG!

yep, that's what to do... also make sure if you DO get work done, that they only use anaethetics that are ok for pregnant women.....

Yeah your teeth get weaker during pregnancy. My sister chipped her front tooth when she was 11 biting into an apple

luckily it doesnt hurt, so I dont think it did any nerve damage... I will call the dentist tomorrow... one more thing I have to do for myself...
