Dentist in Holbrook Area
Hi - can anyone recommend a good dentist in the Holbrook area.

NOT Sachem Dental!!!!
I traveled to Oakdale for the BEST dentist ever when I lived on LI- Dr. William Pomerantz.
I'm in SC now, and I still try to schedule my visits around my biyearly cleanings to see him. He's so amazing that I just saw a dentist here in SC who said I need a lot of work, my gut doesn't trust them, so I literally just got off the phone with Dr. Pomerantz and he's looking over my xrays and treatment plan for me!!

Dentist in Holbrook Area
We go to Dental Smiles For Kids in Ronkonkoma (love our doctor and the office!) but I know there's a kiddsmiles in holbrook that some friends use and are really happy with it!
Wait are you looking for adults or pediatric lol?

I have had the WORST experience with Sachem Dental (Broadway Ave). They were disorganized, ineffective and just awful all around.
My family now uses Dr. Pomerantz. His office is clean and we like him a lot. He is calm, efficient and friendly.. but no nonsense at the same time. My older son was FREAKING out yesterday because they don't use sweet air (he's always gone to a pediatric dentist) - but Dr. Pomerantz calmed him down and got the work done with little challenge. His staff is really great too!

Dentist in Holbrook Area
I go to sachem in the commons and I can take em or leave em... I dislike big offices but the location is really convenient for me so that's why I've stayed. I've been to the one in nesconset for surgery and I liked them better... Smaller office and staff was nicer

I grew up in Holbrook and my family and almost everyone i know if the area swear by Dr's Chanin and Cinski on Main Street, across from Villa Lombardi's

Another unhappy sachem dental patient here. I go to the broadway office. They are not friendly, you can never get appointments. I'm also looking for a new dentist.

I go to Sachem Dental but the one in Holbrook Commons. I've never had an issue and everyone there is super nice. I never had to wait long for an appointment. I'm in and out. It's super convenient for me.
Is the one in the commons the same business as the one on Broadway?

DO NOT USE SACHEM DENTAL...expecially the one in Holbrook commons...they SUCK!!!
I went for an appt many years ago,and when i went to make my 6 month appt they told me they dont book that far in advanced. I have never heard such BS. They told me I would get a postcard in the mail as a reminder to book my appt. I never got one (matter of fact still waiting for it) and when I called to make my 6 mont. she said that they have an appt for me in 4 months.....WTF....that would be 10 months between cleanings. Unacceptable. The office is run horribly and its an example of bigger is not always better....

My dentist that I love in Patchogue also doesn't book appts 6 months in advance.
I think it just depends on the office policy
They do send us text messages though to remind us it's coming up on time to book...I like that!
And when you do call you never have to wait 4 months for an appt- that is nuts!

Love everything about Dr. Pomerantz's office. SO clean, love his staff- doesn't get much better than Fran, he is so gentle and caring but no ******** all at the same time (I have major anxiety over going to the dentist and he is just the best). I really can go on and on about him! :)
