Dentist-Update
I few months ago I posted looking for a special needs dentist. I wound up taking my DS to the Stonybrook dental clinic. They were great with my son who has a feeding tube and have lots of experience with special needs children. They took our insurance but told me that they cost about 30% less than the regular dentist. They also have Nitrous Oxide in the office. First impressions aren't the best but the dentist was wonderful.
I would def recommend them for any special need child.

Re: Dentist-Update
We started going to them too, and it's been great so far! We have been to so many special needs dentists that have all wanted to do IV sedation for the dental work, which isn't covered by insurance and was thousands upon thousands of dollars. I'm glad we found SB. No sedation so far, and they have been nice to work with. They even put sealants on several of the adult teeth last week. Now why wouldn't the other dentists do that!? Well actually I know why....rotten teeth = more dental trips = more money!
