Deodorant/Rash?
I think I'm allergic to my deodorant (Degree) - but then again, almost all deodorant gives me a rash now that I think about it.
Does anyone know of a brand for super sensitive skin that actually works as well as degree does?
I have a rash right now and I can't stop scratching!

Sometimes I get razor burn and that itches--could it be that? In terms of deodorant brands I find Dove to be very gentle!

Oh, and I might add that I've never had any type of reaction to anything on my skin in my entire life....I don't understand why it's just my armpits!

I got a rash from secret, dove, and one particular degree scent....I switched to the degree powder scent, and so far so good- no rashes inabout 6 months.

HA! all brands I commonly used!
Now I don't want to get too gross or personal - but did you get the rash on the "outside" of your armpit? I don't get an actual rash on the underside, but moreoever the outside!

yeah, the front of my pit...like if you were looking at me, you could see it where my shoulder met my arm.
And it wasn't small red dots - it was large red splotches.
Glad I'm not dealing with that anymore.

very welcome - my Doc told me that its caused by dry skin, and the deodorant is drying it even more.
He told me to use Eucarin (moisturizer), and use deodorant as normal.

Hey - sorry if this is TMI, but I used to have what DH and I lovingly refered to as "Funky Pit". I got a horrible scab-like rash under both armpits after using Mitchum (the only thing that *really* works for me).
I switched to Dove Cool Moisture - the Cucumber one and POOF! Funky Pit went away within 4 days!
