DESIGN STAR - Spoilers!!!!!!
Well, it was a given who would win.
I think I still prefer Trish but she was not the top 2 so I think the winner is indeed the right person.

I agree. I actually voted for Matt b/c it was such an uneven competition.
Matt was terrible in the last couple of challenges and his presentations were actually uncomfortable to watch. 
And I thought the whole reunion episode was awful. It was dragged out and boring.

Mikey V was not even there. I don't blame him.
After reading lots of posts on HGTV message boards, it looks more and more like it was fixed. Trish would have been a stronger competitor against Jennifer. Not sure how it was explained how she was not top 2.

I didn't read the HGTV boards...but it seems clear there was already something in the works for Jennifer. That makes sense since she could do something with her paint techniqes but they didn't have to dupe us with this "competition".

yes, there was no need to make a joke out of this.
I was disappointing this season. I mean it was all team. Like Scottie said. How do you judge on team challenges? They used to have a lot more individual challenges on season 1.

I voted for Matt because there is something about Jennifer that irked me.
Also I thought Matt was a stronger candidate because he is a carpenter.
I really liked Trish a lot, if she had been in the final 2 I would have voted for her.

I thought this season stunk. Trish was def the best designer although none of them blew me away at any point.
Did they say why mikey v wasn't there?
