Dessert buffet and centerpieces at my twins christening(pics)
I first wanted to thank everyone on here. Without your creative ideas, photos and how-to's I never would have been able to put this together.
Here are a bunch of pics of the dessert table and centerpieces I made for my twins christening last weekend. I originally made 6 ribbon topiaries only to find out the room was set up different and I was going to need 10 centerpieces. With only 1 day left I made tissue pom topiaries to fit my pink and blue theme.
I purchased the favor boxes from oriental trading along wih some of the candy. The rest of the candy I got at Oh Nuts. I made the oreo truffles, golden oreo truffles, cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, rice crispy treats, brownies and the biggest project, the cake. It was my first time making a tiered cake but I am proud of how it turned out. Its an oreo cake with oreo buttercream filling and white chocolate ganache frosting with the M&M's of course. Its covered in pink and blue M&M's because thats my nickname for my Max and Mia.
For the centerpieces I got all the materials at Michaels and AC Moore and that is also where I bought all my containers/jars.
The last pics are my twins Max and Mia (my little M&M's). (first 2 in their christening outfits and the last was their coordinating party outfits.

Everything looks awesome! I love both of the centerpieces- where did you find instructions on the pompom ones?
