DH?!?!

Anyone else's DH so stressed out between work and the baby's semi soon arrival that he picks fights with you? Mine is so incredibly stressed out with work - it's really a bad situation that he expected to be an incredible opportunity and a great place that has just become a living hell. He's picking fights with me constantly and I've never experienced this with him in 7 years of dating (known him for 18). I just don't know what to do - tonight was so bad that I got so upset I ended up throwing up my dinner in the shower. I just wish he'd quit, or at the very least look for a new situation.

My DH recently quit his job because it was so bad (and certainly not worth the money for what they were putting him through.) Things are going to be tight for awhile but if you are in a financial position that he can quit for awhile while looking for something else I would suggest it. Sometimes it's just not worth it. That being said, there is no reason he should be taking this out on you. Have you talked to him about this? Does he realize his work stress is infiltrating your relationship? Stress level is only going to go up when the baby comes so it would be best to come to a resolution now

You should definitely resolve this before the baby comes. If he is stressed now, it will be so much worse when the baby is around. Talk to him, express your concerns, and find a way to get past it!

Tell me about it! I kept trying to walk away from the situation because it was seriously so stupid (over the tv show love it or list it). I kept saying we will agree to disagree... Walked away, then he got pissed at me for walking away, then he started getting nasty because I was crying.... He's NEVER been like that, any other fight we have both been at fault, with this I seriously can not take any credit. He's now sleeping in our spare room... If I wasn't so upset I'd probably get a great nights sleep with the whole bed to myself.
